Application for Organ Competition

The International Organ Interpretation Competition for the Johann Pachelbel Prize 2020 was to take place from June 26th to July 2nd on organs in Nuremberg and Herzogenaurach, all participants had already been selected. Due to the restrictions of the corona pandemic, the competition had to be postponed.
As soon as a new date can be set, we will inform you here.

Organ Competition

An international organ competition promoting young organists has been an integral part of the Internationale Orgelwoche Nürnberg – Musica Sacra since 1968. After over 35 years, the competition was thoroughly revised in 2005/2006. In 2007, the competition, now held every two years, and in the form of an interpretation competition, returned to the ION programme.

The next competition will be held 26th of June until 2nd of July 2020. You can find the invitation here. Deadline for application is 1st of February 2020.
